Summary/Abstract: The Judiciary reform is continuously in the focus of the publicity – before and after the accession of Bulgaria into the European Union. The amendments into the basic Law of the country in 2003, 2006 and 2007 were dedicated namely to the Judiciary reform as well as the numerous amendments and additions to the Structural Law on the Judiciary, the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Law and the new Administrative Procedure Act and Civil Procedure Code. The Administrative Criminal Procedure Code which is under the preparation will be also aimed at improving the judicial system.
