Summary/Abstract: In order to explain the relationship between music and philosophy, especially to closely connect their esthetical and ethical meaning, it is necessary to define what connects them as a unique building element. Poetry and poets have always been mediators between the idea and society, culture and civilization, surely not only as mentioned in Peackok’s thesis ‘’barbaric remains of the past in an era of science that has outgrown them’’. While the poet and his poetry is more passionate and sensible then philosophical world of ideas yet it gets its unification in two great minds and creators of the 19th century German philosophy and music. We are talking. of course, about the most provocative and most famous thinker Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche for whom music is the expression and universal language of the highest degree. He brings the deepest core which precedes every formatting, that is, the very things, and for him music crates a myth, that tragic myth that believes in immortality and eternal life – Spiritus Mundi. Richard Wagner stands as a central controversial figure in the reformation of the opera who, by expressing emotions, unites all the arts in the service of drama (poetry, music, acting, scenes decor ) so that that this unity primarily refers to the poetic text and music. This work is aiming to prove that two great minds erased the difference between poetry and philosophy and at the same time between fiction and reality.
