Summary/Abstract: Teachers’ attitudes towards the project concerning the Regulation of pre-school education were investigated. 1405 kindergarten teachers coming from the whole country gave their opinion concerning the changes in the training areas and suggestions how these areas could be optimized; as well as on the availability of their own resources for the elaboration of new program systems. Every third teacher stated a positive attitude towards the project, the rest were either not sure that it will bring good results or did not have a definite opinion. About 40% of all teachers considered the proposed changes as good enough; almost as many made suggestions for their improvement, the rest did not communicate clear statement. A considerable part (more than 75%) of all the participants in the inquiry reported they lacked their own resources for the elaboration of new program systems.
