Summary/Abstract: Innovations cost money but they are the only way to enable the company to launch a new product or service on the market, or find a products/services place on the new market. The article presents the definitions of innovation, their division and characteristics. The article also presents innovations on the spices and spice products market: technological innovation directly associated with the production process, product innovations related to the product and the marketing innovations associated with the change of marketing strategy.
