Summary/Abstract: The article is about the issue of building the relationship between universities and students as well as cities and students and graduates. The cities with universities have individual advantages, therefore the competition between the cities for students is not easy. For the better understanding of the topic the case study of selected Polish cities were used as well as research conducted for the City Hall of the city of Szczecin, asking students about the issues of building relationship with them.
