Summary/Abstract: Activities in the social media requires appropriate forming of the way of communication and the proper selection of channels of social media for each generation. The author of the article presents differences in generational paying particular attention to the generation Y and Z. The article focuses on currently used by generations social media, indicating their popularity, meaning and purpose of use. The article refers to the secondary research and own research conducted among the younger generation Z.
