Summary/Abstract: The considerations of the paper are focused on some chosen features of the first Slavonic translations of Scripture (i.e. using the dual instead of the plural, the dative instead of the genitive, introducing, as copulas, forms of the verb byti of the present whereas in Greek, similarly as in Hebrew sources, they were omitted, replacing the aorist by the perfect, preferring non-prepositional instead of prepositional constructions). The aim is to show realizations of the features in the successive CS redactions of the Book of Psalms (Archaic, Russian, Norov, Athonite and Cyprian). The question about the range of preservation in the redactions of the Cyrillo-Methodian model of translation is tried to be answered. The analysis was based on comparing not all but only selected across the text parallel fragments of the representatives of the redactions as regards the presence of the features of the model considered. It appeared that all the features had been the best survived in the Psalters of the Archaic and Russian redactions. The Norov and Athonite redactions have still continued three from five tendencies of translation and the Cyprian redaction – only one of them.
