Summary/Abstract: This work presents a retrospection of pedagogic experience in overcoming the stereotype of traditional decisions through project activities. It defines more precisely the nature of the project activity and describes its originality in the preschool childhood. The work also specifies theoretic reasons for applying the method of projects in the child-environment pedagogic interaction, outlines the typology as well as the themes of projects in the pre-school childhood. It also differentiates organizational aspects of project work and stages in the mastering of project actions; systematizes developing functions of project activity in the pre-school children’s orientation to the world and suggests ideas for their provision.
