Summary/Abstract: In this study, a screening study was carried out to evaluate the knowledge and skills gained by the 4th grade students in the fields of mathematics and science within Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) examination, which was organized by International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) . Participating in TIMSS 2015 Grade 4 student applications from Turkey 6456 survey of attitudes and knowledge applied to Optimal Scaling is a kind of technical Nonlinear Principal Component Analysis and interpreted. As a result, it has been determined that as the amount of materials and technological support increased, the students' achievement levels and attitude levels also increased proportionately.
