Summary/Abstract: The problem of the presence and importance of religion in social life is an extremely complicated one; as well as a satisfactory solution everyone is hard to find. Given this precise and very complex problem, that of human rights, the author wishes to demonstrate the decisive role of Christianity, the vision of the man it implies. The purpose of this whole process is to raise awareness of these essential human rights that were proclaimed in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948. Taking into account this event and the circumstances that accompany it, the author confirms "in an indirect way" the conviction concerning the presence and importance of religion (here: Christianity) for social life.
