Summary/Abstract: In French criminal law, despite the international regulations, organized crime is incriminated in the traditional form of the gang aggravating factor and the crime of conspiracy. These relatively recent regulations have not been inspired by the latest international models of the United Nations or the European Union and are different both from the international regulations, and the enactments of other European countries, as they lack the defining elements of the criminal gangs.
