THE APPLICATION OF LOGIT MODELS TO IDENTIFICATION OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE ACTIVITY OF OLDER PEOPLE

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research undertaken in the article is to assess the probability of having, by people aged 50+, certain status in the labor market, that mean, the status of working, unemployed or inactive. Therefore, the logit models were estimated in which the dependent variable was binary variable characterizing the status of the labor market of studied population. The information base of studies were separate non-identifiable data from the Labour Force Survey, which has been made available for consideration by the CSO.
