METHODS OF DURATION ANALYSIS IN IDENTIFICATION OF DETERMINANTS OF RISK OF ERASURE FROM THE UNEMPLOYMENT REGISTRY

Summary/Abstract: The unemployment registry may be the database for analysis of the situation on the regional labour market. In this case there are important both the cause of unemployment and the deregistration reason. The lack of clearly defined cause of erasure from the labour office registry makes analyses difficult. Therefore the authors tried to identify the features of these persons influencing the risk of erasure from the unemployment registry. The aim of the paper is assessment of the risk of erasure from the registry and identification of its determinants. Because the time of staying in the unemployment registry was analysed, selected methods of duration analysis were applied.
