Knowledge Management in Innovative Projects on the Example of the Furniture Sector

Summary/Abstract: In this article, author shows great meaning of the knowledge in company innovations.Present innovative condition of the Polish economy has been analyzed. Thepilot survey has been taken in the companies of the furniture sector according the activitiesin the range of knowledge management. The results show insufficient access ofthe employees to knowledge resources. There is also few trainings in the companies andinsufficient support for employees in the range of funding of their development outsidethe company. Besides that Polish furniture sector is in good condition now, we shouldput more pressure on the knowledge management and advance to higher innovativelevel. That gives a chance to keep the leader position of the polish furniture sector andincrease the competitive advantage on the demanding international market.
