Summary/Abstract: One should expect the reflection about the interplay of social and linguistic changes to touch upon quite fundamental questions. Still, if we do not want to bet blindly on the chances of the paralogic known from old pioneers- accounts and from detective stories, where false hypotheses lead to true discoveries, we should keep in mind how insidious any kind of not avowed "evidence" may be.
