Distinctive language features of Konstantin Miladinov’s poetry

Summary/Abstract: The article offers a systematic overview of the language of Konstantin Miladinov’s poems, based on the original first editions of the texts. The poems fall into three groups: poems published in the journals Bulgarski knizhitsi and Bratski trud, and the newspaper Dunavski lebed. The poems’ graphic and spelling features are reviewed, as well as some phonetic, morphological and lexical phenomena, and finally, similarities and differences amog the poems are summarized. A conclusion is drawn that the language of Konstantin Miladinov’s poetry reflects the author’s native the Struga dialect.
