Summary/Abstract: The paper is the first attempt in the description of the print books in the library of the Ecclesiastical Seminary on the Halki (Heybeli) island, one of the Prince islands in the Sea of Marmara. The library was founded in 1844 on the premises of the Holy Trinity monastery to train Orthodox clergy with the intention of withstanding Catholic and Protestant propaganda. The books are analized in regard to language (Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian), subject-matter, time and place of publication.
