Summary/Abstract: "Ebru Art" which has a very important place in Traditional Paper Ornament arts with history dating back centuries and valuable extant examples was used as a complementary ornamental element in the outer and inner cover bookbinding and at the same time ornamentation of manuscripts with gilding, calligraphy and miniature art for centuries. Within the borders of our country, there are outstanding examples representing our traditional art, shed light on our history, culture and art in the manuscript work libraries connected with Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, archives of public institutions and organizations, museums, private collections and museums abroad. And it is thought to be important that qualified researches which will be based on documents the in the field of our traditional arts in terms of introducing, maintaining and passing on the future generations of our cultural and artistic values. This research was conducted in Zeytinoğlu Public Library placed in Tavşanlı district of Kütahya and connected with Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In the scope of the research, bindings of manuscripts ornamented with Ebru art were examined placed in the aforementioned library. The periods which they belong, scope and information about tag of manuscripts was arranged and explained according to catalog information placed in archives of Presidency of Turkish Manuscript Association. In addition, the binding materials used in the manuscripts was examined in terms of the qualitative characteristics such as colors used in Ebru making and applied Ebru varieties and it was aimed to give information about ten "Ebru" samples documented with photos.
