THE OPINIONS ON THE INITIATION OF THE CERTAIN SOCIAL GROUPS IN PRESENT

Summary/Abstract: One of the bequests to us belong to our primitive ancestors is the initiation belief and rituals. These rituals which changing according to certain components throughout the history, has been practiced over the different forms by the different ages and the societies. The initiation rituals, which were not lost although alterations of culture and religion, lives gaily on today. In the study in which has been given the enough knowledge about group culture and folklore, the practices of transition and initiation has been taught upon its throughout the history. At the part of analysing, the initiation practices of the students staying at hostel, farmers working at olive, the soldiers have been highlighted in the context of group values and norms.
