Summary/Abstract: Consumers in the textile industry have a wide variety of reasons for purchasing products, from the functionality that the product reveals to the visual elements, from emotional to cultural values. This diversity also expands the creativity that the designer has to offer in the textile industry, and the creativity in product design is more important in industrial design. Having a very important place as a starting point for the designing process, inspiration is the blending of the data obtained as a result of detailed research on the inspiration source into the designer’s own identity and turning it into a unique collection. In this research activity, designers were asked to select an inspiration for a collection of textile products. As a result of the preliminary research that the designer had done, besides the artist personality, he chose Johannes Itten, which has an important place in the field of design by influencing the teaching programs of the basic design courses in Bauhaus School. As a result of researches on Johannes Itten, a unique textile collection (bedding design) was used which was used in the data creation process.
