Summary/Abstract: The text constitutes the report of the 27th Summer School for Young Pedagogues operating under the auspices of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, whose co-organizer in 2013 was the University of Lower Silesia in Wroclaw. Debates focused on the following areas: Around the categories ‚Private’ vs. ‚Public’?; The humanities towards the tensions between public and private spheres, and within them; What and how is said about school and education in public and private sphere?
