Literary Lessons in Thinking and Imagination

Summary/Abstract: The text is a presentation of Katarzyna Kuczyńska-Koschany’s book entitled Skąd się bierze lekcja polskiego? Scenariusze, pomysły, konspekty (Poznań 2016), the fruit of a long-term cooperation with the editorial boards of “Polonistyka” and “Polonistyka. Innowacje”. It argues that these periodicals have been constructing an educational model aimed at the development of thinking and perception (also at school) that literature pictures a multiparous and complex world. Quoted findings by neurobiologists (art has created a brain) document the thesis on the educational significance of various ways of reading, which are described in the discussed publication. // Tekst jest prezentacją książki K. Kuczyńskiej-Koschany Skąd się bierze lekcja polskiego? Scenariusze, pomysły, konspekty (Poznań 2016), będącej efektem długoletniej współpracy z redakcjami „Polonistyki” i „Polonistyki. Innowacji”. Autorka przekonuje, że na ich łamach budowany był model kształcenia nastawiony na rozwijanie myślenia i postrzeganie (także w szkole) tego, że literatura obrazuje wielorodny, skomplikowany świat. Przywołane konstatacje neurobiologów (sztuka stworzyła mózg) dokumentują tezę o edukacyjnym znaczeniu rozmaitych sposobów czytania opisanych w omawianej publikacji.
