Summary/Abstract: The article points out the need for change in the examination method for the National Institute of Magistracy and magistracy admissions exam, a change caused by the criticisms made by magistrates, lawyers, but also by those who participated in the exam. Although various formulas can be imagined, the selection procedure for future magistrates should include, first of all, evidence to test the skills and qualities required for a judge or prosecutor (honesty, patience, logical thinking, etc.) and only after that is, a test of legal knowledge so that among those with the requisite qualities for a magistrate to be chosen the best lawyers.
