Italy's aspirations in the Balkans and Turkey's policy for regional cooperation from the autumn of 1932 to the summer of 1933

Summary/Abstract: Some tendencies and events in the international life of the autumn of 1932 and summer of 1933 which led to hastening Turkish diplomacy in the Balkans and outlining the so-called "south- Balkan group" are the subject of this article. Chronologically, the article comprises the period between the third and fourth Balkan conferences when the foundations for regional cooperation on the peninsula are laid through the active participation of the Turkish diplomacy and all this was later incorporated in the Balkan Entente.
