Strategic Planning in Regional Development - Poland 2020

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to present the results of research based on the analysis of literature and program documents, the essence of which was to show the relationship between the EU cohesion policy and the institutional model of regional development programming. Context considerations have been entered in the multiannual financial framework. The subject of assessment was adopted in Poland planning methods included in regional development in the context of the experience of the past decade. Undoubtedly, the issue of development programming is very complex. On the one hand, the magnitude of formal and legal requirements underlying the design of development strategies, their multiplicity and the cost of the uprising, and on the other hand, the absence in practice. This situation causes excessive technocracy. Strategic management of regional development is confused with both management development and development planning. Consequently, actions constitute ineffective set of solutions.
