The activity of business environment institutions (BEIs) in terms of supporting enterprises with the instruments of the mice industry

Summary/Abstract: The cooperation between enterprises and the broadly understood business environment institutions (BEIs) is one of the study areas in the field of enterprise management in a turbulent environment. The problem of infiltration of BEI activities for the development of enterprises has been discussed in the subject literature, but white spots remain. The aim of the study was to identify the instruments of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) industry offered by business environment institutions to entrepreneurs aimed at developing their business. Discussion and assessment was carried out on the basis of literature and secondary sources in Polish and English, individual in-depth interview with business environment institutions (IDI) and participant observation. The direction of future empirical research was formulated, the results of which may be useful in both enterprise management and the activity of the MICE sector.
