Summary/Abstract: The article presents the disturbing phenomenon of discrimination, exclusion of older people from the social life and the ways of preventing these phenomena through education. It becomes necessary to create educational offer adapted to the needs and possibilities of older people. In the opposite case, the problem of social exclusion could be exacerbate, and its solution – in a world of accelerating changes - may be more diffi cult in the future. The article uses the results of research carried out within the project realized under the Lifelong Learning Program – Grundtvig „Evaluation Toolkit on Seniors Education to Improve Their Quality of Life”.
