Educational function of tourist activities of seniors and youth

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to present the educational function which can be played by tourist activities for seniors and comparing them to tourist activities of academic youth. Apart from the traditional, educational role of tourism, visiting new places, we experience closeness and social integration of the community. The results obtained allow to conclude that the educational function of tourism is more important for seniors than for young people.
