Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the issue of archival material from judiciary institutions which is conserved in the archival institutions of the National Archive for Medimurje, the National Archive in Varaždin and the Archival Collection Centreof Koprivnica. A brief review of the political circumstances from the middle of the 19 century until 1945 in the Medimurje and Koprivnica Podravina area will begiven, followed by a review of the structure of judiciary institutions in both regions,as well as the types of archival material which the judiciary fonds contain and theirsignificance for consulting parties.
