The importance of family benefits in shaping the level of family life

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the subject of a Polish family living standards, especially in this context, the importance of the family benefit system. Therefore, the question arises whether these benefits will fulfill their functions, or if they should be modified. The article also contains some reflections on family policy implemented in Poland. From the foregoing it is arises that the concept called. modern family policy would be desirable. Its implementation, however, would require a significant increase in financial means to increase the amount of family benefits. The article also presents some considerations with regard to solutions in selected European countries.
