The impact of investment of Volkswagen on the socio-economic development of wrzesiński district

Summary/Abstract: Wrzesiński district is considered to be a very attractive investment location. This is the result of factors such as geographical location, local market development prospects, transport accessibility and economic development. In 2014, the Września Economic Activity Zone (WSAG) was established here. Volkswagen is one of the largest foreign investors in Wielkopolska. The aim of the publication was to determine the level of socio-economic development of the Września district against the background of other districts of the Wielkopolskie voivodeship.
