THE ROLE AND TASKS OF A PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR ACCORDING TO THE EXAMPLE OF THE DISTRICT LABOR OFFICE IN RYBNIK

Summary/Abstract: Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie roli doradcy zawodowego oraz jego zadań. Część teoretyczna przedstawia działalność Powiatowego Urzędu Pracy w Rybniku oraz omawia specyfikę pracy doradców zawodowych. Część praktyczna zawiera analizę wyników badania sondażowego, opartego o technikę ankiety i przeprowadzonego wśród petentów rybnickiego PUP. This article is intended to provide an overview of the role of the professional counselor and its tasks. Theoretical part presents the activities of the District Labor Office in Rybnik and discusses the specifics of the work of the vocational counselors. The practical part contains the analysis of the results of the survey based on a survey technique and carried out among the clients of the PUP in Rybnik.
