Summary/Abstract: To deal with the imaginary supposes to mobilize, of the antiquity in the contemporary time, theories, analyses and practices extending beyond obviously the frame of an article. Furthermore, if we are to take Cornelius Castoriadis literally, it is the faculty to imagine which would create the notions of imaginary and reality. An aporia which incites to distinguish here very punctually between imagination/image/imaginary to deduce possible pplications possible for the reading of a poem and for the investment of the imagination in the process of poetic creation.
