Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of a research conducted in June 2016. It examined the perception of Slovak retail stores by customers, from the point of view of their popularity or customer preference. We attempted to find out how much time customers are willing to spend in the individual stores, and which of them they prefer. In the conclusion, we present a table review of respondents’ answers to our questions,in which we asked about the specific reasons for preference of shopping in individual stores.
