Summary/Abstract: The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) concluded between the European Union (EU) and Canada is one of the regional trade agreements that regulates the conditions for access to the markets of both partners. Its entry into force may also affect Poland’s trade with Canada. The aim of the article is to present selected aspects of the competitiveness of Polish exports to Canada in the context of changes resulting from the CETA. Based on the subject literature, an attempt to present the relationship between regional trade agreements and export competitiveness, as well as the regulations and scope of trade liberalization between the EU and Canada has been made. It can be concluded that CETA may improve the competitiveness of agri-food products originated from Poland on the Canadian market.
