Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the strategic significance of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and to determine its potential benefits for the United States and the EU economies as well as to evaluate its impact on the world economy. The article`s aim is, also, to consider the issue of the international payment disequilibrium in the context of the crucial role of the TTIP to overcome it and in this way to stimulate the international trade as well as the growth the world economy.
