Summary/Abstract: The Podlaskie voivodeship is the most ethnically diversified region in Poland with multicultural and multinational identity. Besides Poles, there live: Belarusians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Tatars and Roma people. Therefore, the work environment of most companies in Podlasie region is a place of mutual interactions between people from different cultures. It leads to the existence of many different systems of values, styles of work and attitudes towards work, ways of perceiving the reality, preferences and beliefs in organizations. The aim of the article is to identify cultural factors in large companies in Podlasie region. Quantitative surveys were conducted among the managers of 36 large companies located in Podlaskie voivodeship. The selection of the test sample was deliberate. The number of test facilities in the region represented 98% of the total. The research was focused on four cultural dimensions: power distance, individualism/ collectivism, masculinity/femininity, and the avoidance of uncertainty.
