Summary/Abstract: A growing number of recent strategic management studies highlight the new research avenue focused on processual lenses. In this context, research question that deserves close examination is: “what is the new source of competitive advantages”? We suggest that the potential benefits of organizational politics and organizational ambidexterity can be more probable as drivers of contemporary firms’ competitive advantage. Using data from 355 medium and large sized firms we have confirmed that applying organizational politics and organizational ambidexterity firms create ability to be competitive. Particularly, both organizational change making as dimension of organizational politics, as well as organizational ambidexterity are positively and directly associated with competitive advantage.
