КЪМ ВЪПРОСА ЗА ЛЕКСИКОГРАФСКОТО ОПИСАНИЕ НА КНИЖОВНОТО НАСЛЕДСТВО НА ПЕТЪР ЧЕРНОРИЗЕЦ
TO THE QUESTION OF LEXICOGRAPHICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE LITERARY HERITAGE OF PETAR TZERNORIZETS

Summary/Abstract: The article raises the question of the dictionary description of the literary heritage of one of those still insufficiently lexicographically documented authors of original Old Bulgarian literature - Petar Tzernorizets. That is done, on one side, by putting him into the context of the achievements of the text bound lexicography of Preslav monuments, and on the other - linking him to the preparation of the future Bulgarian historical dictionary. The currently available lexicographical descriptions of the works of this writer are discussed. Some common problems of compiling dictionaries in relation to the creativity of particular medieval writers are submitted, certain ways of their solution are mentioned, and the benefits of making such reference books are analyzed.
