Summary/Abstract: The paper refers to the situation in liquefied natural gas market in the world. The first part of the study concerns to comparison of exports of LNG in 2004 and 2016. Second part of the paper focuses on the imports of liquefied natural gas over the same period, taking into account the regions of the world. Results of surveys shows increase in export of liquefied natural gas over the last 12 years and increase in the number of importing countries of LNG.
