Summary/Abstract: Virtual organization reflects a comprehensive system of solutions that enables effective management of projects in times of dynamic changes in the socio-economic environment. ICTs at the same time increase the efficiency of the company. And both can act destructively. The priority in a virtual enterprise is profit in the shortest possible time, without unnecessary structure. In classical terms, organizational culture is meant to lead, inter alia, to integration within the organization, to create a structure that can be distinguished from other organizations, and to facilitate adaptation to new employees. Organizational culture is primarily responsible for preparing employees for frequent changes, and for getting rid of schematic thinking in relationships with other companies. In addition, organizational culture in a virtual organization is characterized by the speed of acquisition, and processing information necessary for the proper functioning of the enterprise. Various elements of the concept of virtual organization are subjected to indepth analyzes to indicate the compatibility between organizational solutions and the dynamically increasing complexity and turbulence of the environment. The aim of the article is to show the relationship of the organizational culture of a virtual organization with the security of its functioning. To achieve the aim of the article, to investigate the problem and to verify the hypothesis, the method of analysis and critique of the literature was applied and the method of examining the documents in parallel with the heuristic method.
