ABOUT THE TRANSCRIPTS OF THE MIDDLEBULGARIAN TRANSLATION OF THE PANDECTES BY NICON OF THE BLACK MOUNT AND THE PROBLEMS OF ITS PUBLICATION

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the status of the study of the middlebulgarian translation of the Pandectes by Nicon of the Black Mount. The drawn conclusion is based on the fact, that two of the known for the time being eight transcripts of this translation refer in reality to the manuscript tradition of the early Slavonic translation of the Nicon’s Pandectes. Problems of the publication of the middlebulgarian translation of the Pandectes by Nicon of the Black Mount for two middlebulgarian manuscripts (first and second part of the text), with variants of different readings upon Russian transcripts are examined.
