Production Logistics in Enterprises with Japanese Capital Located in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is a comparative analyzes of selected aspects of logistics production in Japanese enterprises located in Poland. Based on the interviews and desk research the authors have analyzed logistics production in three phases: before, during and after manufacturing processes. The research shows that in the analyzed companies both similarities and differences in the field of logistics production can be observed. However, despite the fact, that all analyzed companies utilize the same key methods and concepts of Toyota Production System logistics production is organized in a various way. During the study the authors have observed that in those companies where the reactive methods of inventory management according to JIT concept is applied are more efficient and effective.
