For the sake of this study the detailed data on individual groups of graduates was elaborated. In the study the faculties with highest share of self employed and highest absolute number of self employed were taken into consideration. The faculties that are offered by several universities and of which graduates are in significant share self employed were also included in this study. RESEARCH RESULTS: The results of this study allow to come into conclusion that in case of medical faculties the self employment has no correlation with entrepreneurship. It is however a common practise typical for this field of science or pressure from potential employers. From the other hand, in case of economic faculties, the universities are teaching how to be enterprising and giving knowledge allowing to take a decision to become self employed. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS: According to the study, in case of the medical faculties it would to be advisable to include in the programmes subjects developing ability to get self employed and run economic activities.
