Summary/Abstract: The subject matter of the study is the problem of job crafting, currently still (from the point of view of empirical research) to a small extent present in the literature of the subject. The study is composed of two parts: theoretical, which discusses the concept of job crafting and cited the results of research on the phenomenon and factors associated with job crafting, as well as empirical, including the presentation of results of qualitative research conducted in the group of teachers of primary, secondary and teacher schools. As a result, it turned out that this phenomenon also occurs in Polish conditions, both teachers of primary and lower secondary schools undertake activities aimed at adjusting the work done to their own preferences, and teachers are of the opinion that in this activity they lack autonomy and sense of the meaning of work done.
