PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT IN EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. MACRO, MEZO AND MICRO CONTEXT

Summary/Abstract: Overall responsibility for the progress in achieving sustainable development goals, including giving it a key priority, requires the development of adequate and effective solutions in the performance measurement. This problem concerns performance on different economic scale levels: at macro level, mid-level as well as on the microeconomic scale, as the affect of the adopted solutions. The aim of the article was to review and evaluate the applied solutions in the scope of performance measuring in the macro, middle and ultimately micro scale. The subject of the study were alternative measures of wealth,as well as other aspects of sustainable development measurement in global, national, regional, local and business terms. For research, the method of critical literature analysis was used. Results confirm that the solutions and the scope of measuring the implementation of the sustainable development strategy are widely discussed and their results are effectively implemented.
