Organizational Innovativeness as the Basis for Regional Development

Summary/Abstract: In the modern world, a new type of society is being created. A society based on knowledge and information, directed at innovation. An organization wanting to develop should show a proinnovative character, i.e. the ability to undertake and implement innovative activities. The aim of this paper is to present the forms of cooperation that incentivize the creation of regional networks and innovation oriented companies. Generally speaking organization should strengthen their relations within networks, accumulate knowledge and information, which transform into competitive advantage and value creation.
