Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine the family participation studies according to teacher and family opinions in the sample of the city of Amasya. 100 working school teachers from Amasya province center and 250 families of these teachers' classes participated in the study. The data were collected by "teacher questionnaire" and "family questionnaire". As a result of the research; According to the teachers, it was determined that the most phone calls, at least group meetings, home visits and end-of-year exhibitions of the family participation studies and according to the families the most photographs, at least group meetings and end-of-year exhibitions were performed. Teachers and families stated that family engagement efforts are necessary in order to gain more easily the behaviors that children would want to gain in school. Teachers stated that they had more access to the benefits and indicators related to the benefit of family participation studies, that the education given in the school was supported at home and the success of the children increased and the families increased their knowledge about the education of the child. It has been determined that teachers and families share the common idea that family working or lack of time prevents in the implementation of family participation studies.
