Summary/Abstract: In the first part of the present article we wish to emphasize the main characteristics of sensory processing disorders, especially in relation to the sound universe. In the second part, we summarize a few behaviours of children, noticeable during musical activities, which indicate a possible sensory integration dysfunction in these children. In the third part of the paper, we suggest a few examples of IT resources, whereby, in the context of musical activities, we can support the out-of-sync children in diminishing the problems they face. The starting point of this article is, on the one hand, the observations from the practical activities carried out with children, and on the other hand, the studies conducted in the last 50 years around this subject and summarized by C. Kranowitz in her book, “The Out-of-Sync Child”.
