Summary/Abstract: The complexity and potential danger of applied technology in the use of nuclear energy strengthens the public nuance of applicable law. The law must provide legal certainty for the activities after authorization by a specialized nuclear regulatory authority. The use of nuclear energy as a subject of legal regulation expands its perimeter as a result of the interdependence of regulations at international, regional and national level. Applying the concept of security management to activities based on nuclear technology is in two main directions: protecting people and environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation and ensuring and maintaining the reliability of technical system.
